The pictures speak for themselves...

Bakers man

He is such a help in the kitchen, in spite of his age... think he'll enjoy cooking and baking as much as his mommy! Last week he helped make pizza, granted he ate most of the cheese of the left side. And yesterday he helped make chocolate chip cookies for his Farmor and Lasse when they came to visit. Yum!! Mommy's little helping hand...

Our very own Enzo Ferrari

For those of you who did not know, Enzo's name was chosen after the founder/manufacturer of Ferrari, Enzo Ferrari. Mattias is a car-fanatic, or maybe I should say obsessed, it's an obsession. Well, it was Mattias who came up with the idea that our son would be named Enzo, after Ferrari, of course. To get to the point, Enzo has started his very own collection of Ferrari paraphernalia. Check it out...

Received the Ferrari hat in the mail today from Farfar and Irene...Thank you!

The car he received from his Farfar and Irene (again) as a Christmas gift and the keychain he got from Johan Malmqvist. Must say, the past week he has been sleeping with the keychain in his bed. This seems to be better than a stuffed animal or a blankie..great buy Johan!

10K

June 14th, a girlfriend of mine and I ran a 10K here in Malmö. Prior to this we ran a 5K together... she is a runner, I'm a soccer player who has taken up running since I no longer play soccer. Anywho, to keep my motivation for running and such I have decided to compete in races, goal being a half-marathon, eventually, that is. Well, we ran the 10K and lets just say, I think I will pass on the half-marathon, for now anyway. Give me a month or so and maybe I will change my mind. It was a fun, especially seeing my boys cheering me on. They made it to three different points and even made me a sign...Good job boys!!! Needless to say, passing the finish line was the best part of the race... I made it! Here are a couple of pics...
Can you see me? I am there, barely! (Picture taken by Mattias, while holding Enzo and preparing to take off to meet me at the finish line, good shot honey :D)
Me, Enzo and the Malmqvist's at the finish line.

Midsommar 2008

Midsommar is a traditional Swedish holiday; it includes hanging with good friends and eating good food (eg pickled herring, boiled new potatoes and schnaps), a delicatess you learn to enjoy. Sometimes you can partake in doing the very traditional things such as dancing around the "midsommarstång" which we have yet to do as a family. We always look forward to this holiday since it's a good opportunity to spend time with good friends and play board games and kubb(a swedish outdoors game)! Unfortunately it tends to rain every midsommar so every bit of sunshine we get on that day we tend to use to our advantage and be outdoors eating and/or having a picnic.
Enzo all ready for a fun-filled day... he looks a bit suspicious, don't you think?

Had to take advantage of having friends around to take a family shot of us.
