MAY (Only A Month Away After This Post)

May was a good month, it offered a ton of unpacking, many tears as Grandma returned back home, some sunny days and chicken pox for Aleksander.
Once again, here comes a display of a ton of pics from May.

First up some random pics...
Enzo and his bestfriend, Melwin, after school.

I made pirogues in May, they looked nice and tasted yummy. Have to do this more often. It's a simple dinner and great to freeze in .

Mattias's other tattoo...he's going wild now.

Enzo drew this airplane. I thought it was quite fantastic. Now that I am thinking about it, hopefully I set it aside somewhere, where?...I don't know at this very moment. Could be cool to frame and have in his room. Hmmm....

This kid loves milk, or as Aleksander says, "Meh Meh".  It's quite the thing here since we never could get Enzo to even drink a glass.

Enzo loves climbing trees these days.

While Grandma was still here we went to visit the lovely Lina. Enzo has always taken a liking to her...her she is giving him a spin.

Enjoying May 1st with good friends and ice cream.

Mother's Day! Grandma's visit encompassed her birthday as well as Mother's day. What a treat!
For Mother's Day, her and I went to a brunch with the AWC and then we went shopping, or should I say looking and then back home to spend the afternoon with my boys. The day was great!

The following pics are of our new place.

One of the views from the rooftop. The terrace is open to all the tenants and can be used for events etc. All you have to do is book it. I think they are doing some renovations on it this summer, which is definitely needed because it definitely doesn't meet safety standards.

These are pics of our "backyard". Being that we are about 200yds (max) from the beach and all it has to offer and we spend ample amount of time there, I like to then call it our backyard. It's lovely! It's dreamy!!!!

This is the building we live in.

Enzo cuddling with Grandma at the airport before her departure. Many tears were shed that day.

After Grandma left we had some warm/hot days and of course we spent them in our "backyard".

Chicken Pox. After a couple of attempts for him to get the chicken pox by purposely exposing him to it and after it's spread through the his school, Aleksander finally got the chicken pox. Glad we finally got that over with. He got a ton of them, and he was scratching (in spite of me pumping him with anti-histamines) and now I am in fear of him having a ton of scars, particularly on his face. I bought some oil which we rub into his skin (face) daily to help minimize the scarring. Darn those chicken pox!!!

One day in May we spent a whole day watching the Lindgren girls. It was fun and more chill then anticpated. I don't know if it's the fact that they have a house which means more footage and easy access outdoors or if it was the fact that the kids were in similar ages. Whichever, the day really went smoothly.
And it was briefly warm enough for the kids to splash around in the pool. The bigs kids had a blast, the little ones just observed.

APRIL (We'll eventually catch up...)

April was filled with some exciting things, the most exciting being Grandma coming to visit. Another exciting thing was, signing the papers and moving into our new place. Love it!
Here's what seems like a gazillion pics of April, I guess it was in an effort to make up for the lack of pictures in March. Enjoy. Hopefully they will come in the right sequence, if not...life goes on, right?!

First group of pictures is of Easter at Farmor and Lasse's. It was all the kids and grandkids. We drove up and back over the day. Thought it was easiest since we were one adult extra (Grandma) plus we were going to an easter egg hunt at home with the AWC (American Women's club) the next day.

Kids table and grown up table.

The boys testing out the iPad. The funny thing about the this is, the first hour or so Enzo was being a bit shy. Not really wanting to interact with his cousins, despite their efforts to talk to him and such. After awhile he decides to bust out the iPad, a way of saying "look at me, isn't this cool?" I guess he felt like it gave him some sort of status, as if that was necessary. They all flocked to him, the iPad, like vultures to prey.

Enjoying ice cream in Grandma's arms.

The next group of pics are some random ones of Aleksander.

Thought this pic was hilarious, partially because he looks like he has man-boobs and partially because he just sat there and chilled, with his book and raisins and not a care in the world. Love Living!

A favorite of my own from a kid, licking the batter off the whisk, spatula, bowl...my kids get to enjoy that special treat as well.

When Enzo was a little more than 2 yrs old, I bought him a train pop-up book which he loved. Aleksander has now taken over that book and LOVES it too. It's the choo-choo book and he can read it a zillion times and never tire of it. He has actually accomplished ripping some people and other parts of the book in much less time than Enzo but I guess that's due to unsupervised time with the book...that goes to being the 2nd child.

Cuddle time with Pappa. Psst, check out the tattoo post healing.

Here are pics of us enjoying life at the new place...first BBQ (of many) with Månsson/Yeo family and the Rosenquists.

Some random Instagram pics of the boys.

Aleksander loves Chai tea and hot chocolate. Impressed and love sharing my drinks with him. I see cozy moments this winter, snuggled up with a movie and a warm cup of cocoa!

The following pics are moments with Grandma and preparing for Easter.
