GO USA!!!

We sat with great anticpation and excitement as we watched USA triumph over Brazil, 1-0 in Women's soccer. Even Mattias was rooting for us. I couldn't help myself from screaming, cheering and hanging up the flag with great pride. Way to go USA!!!

Karlskrona

Sunday afternoon we headed to Karlskrona to celebrate one of Mattias' brother's birthday. This time around we were more than usual...we had another dog with us, Kyte, we are taking care of him for a couple of weeks. It was a nice couple of days in Karlskrona, Mattias' brother turned 30, which meant party time!It has been a few months since we were last there, so it was nice to see everyone... especially now that we are moving need to get in as much time as possible with everyone. We were able to see Mattias' grandparents and spend a couple of hours with them, which is always nice. Enzo was happy to see Noah again and his farmor... and this time he even got to see farfar and Enzo's new baby cousin Isak(Noah's new brother). Boy, did I love seeing Isak, think I held him the whole night, started to convince myself that it was my baby :)

På söndag åkte vi till Karlskrona för att fira Peters födelsedag. Denna gången så var vi många som hälsade på...alltså förutom vi fyra, så hade vi en hund till som vi passar just nu. Det var några trevliga dagar i Karlskrona, Mattias yngsta bror fyllde 30, vilket betyder party!! Det har varit ett par månader sen vi var där senast, så det var trevligt att få se alla... speciellt när vi ska flytta snart. Så då vill vi spendera så mycket tid som möjligt med alla. Vi spenderade ett par timmar med mormor och morfar, vilket alltid är jättetrevligt. Enzo var jätteglad att få träffa Noah och farmor igen...plus att han fick träffa sin farfar och det nya tillskottet Isak. Vad jag njöt av tiden med Isak, tror att jag höll i honom nästan hela kvällen, började övertala mig att det var mitt barn :)

Farmor and Noah came to visit/Farmor och Noah på besök

What does Farmor mean?
Farmor is the grandmother on the father's side: far(father)+mor(mother)= the father's mother. The titles/naming they have for the grandparents make it really easy to know which side or which grandparents you are talking about (Farmor and Farfar (the father's parents), Mormor and Morfar (the mother's parents)).

Enzo and his cousin Noah... can you see any similarities? :) The times Enzo has met Noah he has been somewhat intimidated, this time around he looked up to Noah and kind of bullied him, now that Noah was on Enzo's turf. They had a great time together...he sure will miss his cousins when we move, hopefully they'll come to visit us often.

Enzo och sin kusin Noah...kan Ni hitta några likheter? :) De gånger som Enzo och Noah har träffats så har Enzo varit lite rädd för Noah, men inte denna gången...nu ser han upp till Noah. De hade jättekul tillsammans... Enzo kommer att sakna sina kusiner, vi hoppas på att de kommer att besöka oss ofta.

Having a little fun. Enzo really enjoyed having his farmor and Noah over. When he woke up from his nap on their last day there, the first thing he said was, "Noah"...he was then disappointed to find out they had already gone home.

Lite bus på g. Enzo tyckte att det var jättekul att farmor och Noah kom och besökte oss. När han vaknade, det första han sa var, "Noah"...han var nog lite besviken att han inte hann vakna innan de akt hem. The boys are all ready to ride the pony, at least Noah was. Don't think Enzo really understood what it meant to ride apony until he was on the pony's back and then he realized, "I didn't sign up for this, get me down!!" Needless to say, Enzo did not ride the pony.

Klar och redo för att rida ponyn. Enzo förstod inte riktigt vad det handlade om att rida en pony, när det var hans tur så ångrade han sig och ville bara ner. Så det blev ingen ridning för Enzo.
