Vancouver BC And The Amazing Suspension Bridge

We (our family and Farmor and Lasse) took a road trip to Vancouver BC last friday. We stayed over night and tried to absorb as much as we could in 1 1/2days. One thing we hit right on was the Capilano Suspension Bridge. If you are ever in Canada and looking for something to do, go there. It was a wonderful treat. And let me suggest that you go close to opening. We did and we missed most of the field trip traffic. Nice. I won't say much more about it, just check out the pics. Absolutely beautiful...I was a bit disappointed that we didn't see any grizzly bears getting breakfast or bald headed eagles chilling in their nests. Well, Well...truthfully, I have no room to complain. And of course, the pictures just don't do it justice.

Do (ing) the Puyallup, Spring Style

We went to the Spring Fair with the Brightlings and had a blast. I re-lived my days at the Puyallup fair grounds...you would have thought I was the kid at this particular moment. I indulged in elephant ears and run-down rides. My energy sprinkled down on Enzo which in turn encouraged him to be courageous to try out different rides, of course, with mom in tow. We had fun. I, of course, forgot to bring a camera so all pictures are courtesy of Mama Brightling!

Oh yes, Enzo did milk Mable in her stable. (Mable is totally fake and had water instead of milk)

My Three Children

As I have said several times before, I babysit two days a week for some friends. And since their children are also of the mixed or bi-racial people always tend to comment about me and my three children. Things, like "Wow you have your hands full" or "Oh how cute your kids are" etc.

Here are my adorable three children, enjoying themselves at the farm at the zoo. However, I must say I don't see any Future Farmers of America here...

Easter Came

This Easter was a new Easter for our family. We celebrated the American way, easter egg hunt and all. It was fun. Enzo had a blast all day long! We packed a nice Easter basket for Enzo filled with non-candy goods, well there was a little Pez dispenser but that was it. Farmor, Grandma and the Easter egg hunt supplied us for enough candy to last us to Halloween, ok maybe that is a small exaggeration.

Mesmerized

Nature is absolutely AMAZING. All this created by God left for us to take in, amazing, I mean jawdropping amazing! Here is a little taste of Washington's beauties...this one is tucked away in Snoqualime.
